FftF proposed social media legislation
Fight for the Future released a draft of proposed social media legislation that protects ALL kids from Big Tech. Suggest we review it to see what we agree with and what we want changed and why.

Summary
Fight for the future proposed their own social media legislation, as an alternative to the house's censorship bill. Seems like senate not picking up the house legislation right away.
Homework: look over the bill so we can discuss next week.
USPP Issues. Last meeting had a discussion about quorum and the state moderator/lookout position. Joe hoped for a clearer definition of swarmwise. There was a push for a bylaw change. Joe says it was a good change, but he has concerns about the way it was done (e.g., no recording of the discussion). Every other meeting is an informal one. Formal meetings are recorded but information ones are not. This was an effort to enact a bylaw change at an informal meeting.
We nominate Joe to be an alternate rep to the national party, until such time as he might be elected to state moderator.
Joe would like to participate in PPI. He can observe. We'd have to file some paperwork in order to formally join.
National conference. June 6-7. Will need to work on promotion. Will put together the agenda next week.
